Still editing with a Mouse?

It might be time for an intervention.

In this beginner-friendly class, photographer Josh Dean will show you how he combines a Wacom tablet and Stream Deck to create a faster, more intuitive editing workflow. We'll strip away the overwhelming settings and focus on what actually matters for photographers - from setting up your tablet and using pen pressure for retouching, masking, brushwork, and navigating Photoshop more efficiently.

Then we'll kick it up a notch.

Josh will show you how he pairs his Wacom with a Stream Deck to put his most-used tools, shortcuts, and actions at his fingertips - cutting down on repetitive clicks and keeping his attention where it belongs: on the image.

BRING YOUR GEAR!

If you already own a Wacom or other pen tablet, bring it with you! Bring your laptop, your tablet, and an image you'd like to work on. We'll leave time for hands-on practice and one-on-one help so you can dial in your tablet settings, ask questions, and actually put what you've learned to use on one of your own images.

Don't own a tablet yet? No problem. Come see what all the fuss is about before you buy one.

No Wacom experience required. No need to memorize 47 keyboard shortcuts. Just bring your curiosity - and maybe prepare to break up with your mouse.

ABOUT JOSH

Josh Dean is a portrait photographer and professional button-pusher based in Stillwater, Oklahoma, serving clients in both Stillwater and Oklahoma City.

For more than 15 years, Josh has built Josh Dean Photography around creating senior portraits, headshots, families, and commercial work - with an equal obsession for finding better, faster ways to get from capture to finished image.

A longtime Wacom user and unapologetic Stream Deck addict, Josh has built an editing workflow around one simple idea: if he has to do something over and over again, there should probably be a button for it.

Josh is actively involved with Professional Photographers of Oklahoma and serves on the PPok Board of Directors. When he isn't behind the camera, retouching with a pen, or adding yet another button to his Stream Deck, he's probably figuring out another way to shave three clicks off something that already worked perfectly fine.
