MONTHLY MEETINGS
Metro PPA strives to bring the best photography education right to our membership by hosting workshops that offer a wide variety of photographic information, beneficial to all photographers, both professional and non-professional. The incoming president for MetroPPA arranges the monthly education series. These events are scheduled in place of, or along with, a Monthly Meeting. While many of the presenters are from the local area, MetroPPA also hosts nationally recognized speakers with programs that range from practical business advice to hands-on photography demonstrations. Each program contains educational elements, encourages interaction, and is designed with the expertise of the speaker and the needs of our membership mind.
Monthly General Meeting is scheduled the SECOND Monday of each month.
CONTINUING EDUCATION
Education is a treasure that no one can take away from you. You’ve surely heard this a few times, and it’s true. However, especially in photography, learning should never stop. Many view continuing education as an investment toward future endeavors. How it can specifically benefit you?
By offering CE classes that are recognized by the Professional Photographers of America, Metro PPA promotes the PPOK, PPA, and ASP degrees and support our members as they work toward achieving them.
