Images are how we express ourselves and communicate with others. Metro PPA's Members Only Print Competitions are designed to inspire our membership, encourage active shooting, skill-building, and continuous practice, fostering a culture of creativity, camaraderie, and lifelong learning.

At each monthly meeting, except December, we have a themed members-only photographic print competition judged by our guest speaker. Members will receive feedback from guest judges, master photographers, and other members alike to hone their photographic and competition skills and earn points toward their fellowship.

The monthly themes will be posted on the event calendar and on Social Media.

2025 GUIDELINES ON IMAGE SUBMISSION

*All submissions cant be emailed to hello@metroppa.com by 7:30 p.m. the Sunday before the meeting or printed and brought to the maker and brought to the meeting.

*Competition is open to any active member of Metro PPA in good standing.

*Member must be present at the monthly meeting for their images to be entered in the competition.

*Each member may enter up to (2) Images per month.

*Image should be renamed with the image title and makers name as a jpeg.  (Example: migrantmother.dorothealange.jpeg)

*Images received after the beginning of the presentation will not be eligible.

*Images should have no watermark or makers name, visible on the images.

*Images should be sized to 3000 pixels on the longest side.

* Outstanding Image, Distinguished Image and Honorable Mention will be chose by the guest speaker.

*The attendees at the monthly meeting will vote on the Member’s Choice.

*Participation at the monthly competition can earn points toward your fellowship degrees.
