The Metro Professional Photographers Association was organized in 1985 to educate and train professional photographers and to raise the standards of professional photography in western and central Oklahoma. Membership is open to all who want to be better photographers and make money doing it. Here you will learn techniques and skills in photography and business and establish relationships with other photographers who share your passion.

We meet on the second Monday of every month (January - November) at the Tom Steed Career Developement Building on the campus of Rose State. Every month (except for July and December) we have an expert give a presentation on some aspect of photography. The talks range from lighting and posing to Photoshop and business practices.
In addition to our monthly events, we also have other special events during the year. (photo safaris, on location seminars)
